"HISTORY of Bumi Sawunggaling"
Typical Art Deco-style house was built in 1920, occupied by Merv. Bossch Jacobs. Along with the history of Indonesian independence, the house was later donated to the government and converted into the girls dormitory was studying at ITB and subsequently became Dormitory Son or better known as the home of E.

Indo European building holds a lot of history and memories for the alumni of the era to house E. Dames Internat

On January 6, 1997, Prof.. Wiranto Arismunandar, Rector of ITB at the time it gives the idea that house converted into a guest house E ITB Sawunggaling. The guesthouse had been developed so that on April 27 unveiled a Bumi Sawunggaling.

Situ Patenggang or Patengan


Situ Patenggang or Patengan is a lake located in the South Bandung natural attractions, West Java, Indonesia, precisely in Ciwidey. Located at an altitude of 1600 meters above sea level, the lake has a very exotic scenery.

  

  

Myth Situ Patenggang
Based on the information contained in the tourist, there Patenggang comes from Sundanese language, pateangan-teangan (for each). Tells a love son King and daughter shared a large bead goddess of nature, namely ki Santang and Goddess Rengganis. They parted for so long. Because love is so deep, they are looking for and finally meet in a place that until now called "Stone Love". Rengganis goddess asked for a lake and a boat to sail with. The boat is that until now into a heart-shaped island (Pulau Asmara / Sasaka Island). According to this story, which stopped at the stone of love and romance surrounds the island, always get as their eternal love.
