Bandung Zoo, formerly known Jubileumpark during the Dutch colonial establishment in 1930 and its inauguration in 1933 by the Bandung Zoological Park and Botanic also known by the name of Zoo, In the year 1956, replaced by the name of Animal Marga Foundation Tamansari eventually known as Derenten which in Sundanese means Zoo. Bandung Zoo was originally a combination of zoo and Dago Cimindi because both sites no longer possible to accommodate wildlife and recreation.
Tamansari is now known as the name of the street around Bandung Zoo, adjacent to the Institute of Technology Bandung (ITB) and close with Ganesha Park Bandung.
