Dr. Hasan Sadikin Hospital Bandung was built in 1920 and was inaugurated on October 15, 1923 with the name of "Het Algemeene Bandoengsche Ziekenhuijs". On 30 April 1927 the name was changed to "Het Gemeente Ziekenhuijs Juliana" with a capacity of 300 beds. During the Japanese occupation, the hospital was used as a Military Hospital. After Indonesia's independence, managed by local government, which is known by the people of West Java with the name "Ranca Badak Hospital". In 1954 Ranca Badak Hospital set to become provincial hospital and is under the supervision of the Ministry of Health. Furthermore, in 1956 made ​​a public hospital with a capacity of 600 beds, along with the establishment of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Padjadjaran. Since then Ranca Badak Hospital used as a place of education by Padjadjaran University School of Medicine and is the beginning of cooperation between the Ranca Bdak Hospital School of Medicine, University of Padjadjaran.

October 8, 1967 On behalf of the Ranca Badak Hospital converted to General Hospital Dr. Hasan Sadikin (RSHS) that serves as a Technical Implementation Unit (UPT) of the Department of Health of the Republic of Indonesia and directly responsible to the Director General of Medical Services. In 1992-1997 RSHS set to be self-financing unit. The exit of the Law number 20 of 1997 on non-tax revenues that followed the Minister of Finance Decree number 124 of 1997 has turned into a status RSHS User Hospital Non-Tax State Revenue (non-tax revenues) which shall deposit all revenues to the state treasury.

             With the release of the Indonesian Government Regulation number 119 dated December 12, 2000, status RSHS legally changed to the company office (Testament). This policy is a strategic step in giving the government authority more autonomy to the specific service units to hold management independently, so should be able to respond to people's needs in a timely, fast and flexible. 2002 which is effective beginning as Testament, RSHS have achieved good performance compared with 2001 and 2004 programed will achieve better performance than the previous year.

Scout Park (taman pramuka)

Scout Park (Oranje Nassau Plein) or better known as plein Oranjee (1950) was named after Field Dipati Ukur, scout park located in Riouwstraat (in the 1950s) and called with Jln Riau and now known by Jl R.E. Martadinata.

Oranje Nassau Plein built in a poor simple garden trees in 1920. The park is shaped like a half circle with Gazebo is placed in the middle. The building originally stood in the middle of the pond but when the three sides of the building was covered with rose window began to be covered.

The building was originally intended to be a place to relax in the middle of the park, then a casual tavern, and to store a variety of everyday needs in the 1940's. In the early 1970's it became vacant building and it now became the center of Scouting in Bandung.

In the 1970's, built the office building behind the existing buildings, when the park Dipati Measure used for Scouting activities. Since then, his name is called Scout Park. The development of the Boy Scouts behind causing the office building was enlarged and made ​​rise in the 1980s.
