HUSEIN SASTRANEGARA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

Husein Sastranegara (born in Cianjur, West Java, January 20, 1919 - died in Yogyakarta, 26 September 1946 at the age of 27 years) is one of the pioneering Air Force along with Augustine Adisucipto, Halim Perdanakusuma, Abdulrahman Saleh and Iswahyudi. His name is now enshrined in the International Airport Bandung, and named of the air base, Bandung. And there is a statue near Husein Sastranegara International Airport Bandung. However, it has now been demolished and the statue has become a monument Aircraft Casa.
